A viral hand luggage bag that allows you to save money on extra airline fees has gone down a storm with travellers.

The Narwey 20 Litre Cabin Bag is a foldable travel bag that fits into the strict Ryanair guidelines for hand luggage. It measures 40cm by 40cm by 25cm, and is 20 litres deep.

Daily Record Trends Writer Nicola Roy recently tested out the viral bag on a Ryanair flight to Porto - and said it was a "better option than a suitcase".

"And after hearing rave reviews of the £11.99 Amazon Narway Cabin Bag, and how much could fit, I thought it was time to give it a go and see if it would suffice for a four-day trip so that I didn't have to fork out for extra luggage allowance," she said.

"As I started packing, I actually found it incredibly easy to fit everything in. The bag seemed to expand with each piece of clothing. By the time I had fit everything in, the bag was able to zip up with ease, and didn't even feel too heavy."

One shopper who called it a "Mary Poppins Bag, said in a glowing review: "Deceivingly roomy. We now own 5 of these bags 1 for each family member. I recently got caught out when booking our Ryanair flights and managed to book the flexi package which included extra cabin luggage but not hold luggage, lesson learnt!

"Determined not to pay the £80 per bag per person extra for the hold luggage I bought these Cities bags. They are fantastic - I am amazed at how much I can fit in each one, with a little careful folding I have managed to fit most of my clothes for a week and only had to pay for 1 extra hold bag for the whole family for bulky items like shoes and toiletries."

A second shopper said: "Took this with a weeks worth of clothes on an easyJet flight to Spain. Fitted nicely in the overhead storage and as it wasn't a hard case, was able to squeeze in the busy overhead storage."

And a third wrote: "Ryanair, Flybe.. it does it all! I love it, I travel once a month with flybe and this cabin bag is the perfect travel buddy!"

A few shoppers who didn't provide five-star reviews said the only issue was its sturdiness, with one writing: "Useful carry on case with two wheels, sturdy too considering the price of it. It doesn't stand up on its own, you gave to lean it against something but all in all we found it very useful."

The 5 Cities Carry On Bag is available for £17.99 on Amazon.
