Travellers are rushing to get their hands on a stylish leather rucksack by Samsonite, after the price was reduced by more than $100 in honour of the Myer Travel Week Sale.

The Classic Leather Slim Backpack in Cognac Brown, by cult luggage brand Samsonite, has been described as “my favourite carry on” by multiple shoppers, and you can currently get your hands on it for $179.40 instead of the regular RRP of $299.

The bag has been cleverly designed to sit perfectly on the top of any suitcase to allow for streamlined easy checkin.

In the same collection, shoppers can also snap up the Classic Leather Toploader Briefcase (reduced from $379 to $227.40) and the Classic Leather Travel Kit (reduced from $129 to $77.40).

Reviews online for the Samsonite Backpack are glowing, where shoppers have given it an impressive 4.7 star rating across more than 100 reviews.

“Bought this as a daypack, but also as hand luggage/personal item for the plane, and it’s perfect for both purposes. It is such good quality, so many pockets and places to put everything, excellent zippers too,” one shopper wrote.

“Perfect size, keeps you just under 7kg carry on size,” another said.
